net.Art Variations/net.Art Variations: Possible Approaches to Net.Art Recovery Formats presents a study of the meaning and evolution of net.Art in Spain, from almost its beginnings. It develops and proposes different possibilities for re-creation, conservation, recovery, and experimentation based on case studies of five original net.Art pieces. These original historical pieces were created by the artists themselves. The initial creative processes, workings, problems, and fundamental materials of the different pieces are identified. The current state of each work is documented, and different possibilities for its conservation and recovery are proposed, both in terms of material preservation and historical critique.
