Concept
“Every time two people interact there is the potential ability to share information about third parties. Known to both parties. The structure of the links between each individual and everyone else is a network that serves as a channel through which news, job advice, possible love partners travel… ” Smart Mobs: The Next Social Revolution. Howard Rheingold.

The piece raises a critique of online social networks, the role of technologies in our communications and the existence of thousands of virtual “friends”. The possibilities of communication and information exchange have grown exponentially with the appearance of online “socialization” platforms, but many times it is forgotten that these networks, to be truly operational, finally have to function in person, and not just be numbers analyzed in phantom counters. The idea focuses on the “recovery” of personalized communication systems in the real world. The classic way of introducing ourselves, of making a contact, is translated into an exchange of greetings, a handshake and a business card.

Project
The proposal is formalized in a large panel of variable dimensions, where the artist collectives, makes available, gives all his visiting cards. The piece seeks the direct involvement of the people who pass by, the cards are available to anyone, in a Take one / Leave one exchange format.
