Spaces in space. Alternative routes from social utopia and lack of control. (2022)
The evolution of technological communications allows migrants to maintain and create new utopian spaces of co-existence, exchange messages and information with other ‘connected’ people and propose routes from the margins and lack of control.
As the urban e-migrants project of the Urban Space Laboratory – Labeur puts it: “We live in a time of migrants who, neither nomads nor sedentary, move across continents and oceans for reasons of war, politics, economics, climate, personal or of work, to find their place. Migrants who build and are built by situations of daily life and who, at the same time trapped and sustained in that network, recreate their identities and ours. In this same time, we have developed a language ” multi-media” that is often neutralizing the purposes of art, from this it is urgent to investigate other expressive possibilities”.
