Taking as an excuse the book Life on the screen: the construction of identity in the Internet age (1997) by Sherry Turkle, the conference presents different diagrams, lists of names and experimentations on the Internet, such as net.Art projects and the possibilities of alternative constructions of cyber-identities, such as the cyber00 piece, or the unfinished cybericardos.
After an intensive search on the internet, about 80 profiles were collected that matched the name and first surname (Ricardo Iglesias), even in one case, the name and the two surnames (Ricardo Iglesias García), with this list it was intended to create a set of “police” cards and play with the real identity and its presence on the internet, looking for common characteristics to see coincidences in a data table. The cybericardos piece was not finished, but a contact was made by email with some profiles, to inform them of the purpose and request a passport photo that would accompany the file.
