Surveillance Cameras: they are alive!! (2010)

Concept
The continued proliferation of surveillance cameras is leading us into a paranoia of everyday global insecurity, which we can call the “surveillance society.” Political statements about the need to increase control and surveillance systems regularly appear in the media. London has the Ring of Steel, New York has a $90 million initiative, and Paris is considering using drones to “monitor” the suburbs.

Project
The project proposes the creation of a fleet of autonomous spy robots equipped with surveillance cameras that would follow people. The cameras record visitors, displaying the footage both on-site and online. A system monitors the position of both the robots and the visitors, allowing for a customized surveillance scenario.
